Cranberry Country Equine Veterinary Service (CCEVS) was established in 2017 by Dr. Kara Gebhardt-Tessman with a goal of providing high quality care for equine patients in the West-Central Wisconsin area. With the changing veterinary landscape, this area was underserved for equine specific care and we are striving to fill the gap. CCEVS started as an ambulatory service only practice with one truck on the road. In 2021, we welcomed Dr. Shawna who specialized in sports medicine and veterinary spinal manipulation therapy. We quickly outgrew our small space and two vet trucks, so in Spring 2023 we began construction on the new clinic. We moved in February 2024 and are loving our new location. As we continued to grow, we welcomed Dr. Lynzie in Spring 2025. The addition of Dr. Lynzie has allowed us to expand some of our bovine services. We are currently seeing equine, bovine, and small ruminants such as goats, sheep, llamas, and alpacas.
